Description

A strong, wistful melody shared by Trombone and Alto Saxophone. The double tempo middle section exploits the rich sounds of the line up and requires precision and sensitivity, not least when playing the swift flurry of semiquavers which herald the double tempo middle section. A very short Baritone Saxophone solo – just two bars – is an unexpected delight!
