Description
A mellow, medium Bossa Nova piece which moves along at an elegant pace. A feature for the Tenor Saxophone and Piano; the use of Flugelhorn rather than Trumpet contributes to the mellow sound (if no flugelhorn available, however, the piece works effectively with trumpet). Range – Flugelhorn (trumpet) is two octaves + semi-tone A to B flat written pitch sounding G to A flat (in concert pitch). Written in D flat with seamless modulation to F major for the final chorus. Great fun for the musicians and the listeners!
